POI Network Staff have the following qualifications:

 

-  Successful passage of the POI Network background clearance checks

 

-  Annually trained in the Positive Outlook Intervention Network model

 

-  Regularly trained in POI Network's policies and procedures

 

-  Enjoy working with and providing support to troubled youth

 

 

Additional POI Network Staff have many of the following backgrounds and training:

 

-  A minimum of  a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a similar field

 

-  Current or past employment in the social work and law enforcement related industry

 

-  Experience instructing additional crisis intervention courses and family counseling

 

-  Medical, mental health, and/or an educational professional history
